ABC of Wisconsin Apprenticeship and Training Trust has partnered with Penn Foster, a leading provider of online skills training and education programs, to offer several courses for applicants, new employees apprentices or other individuals looking to prepare themselves for a career in construction.

These courses provide:
  • 24/7 access to training, virtually anywhere with internet access
  • A clear pathway for apprenticeship applicants
  • Entry level training for applicants
  • Upgrade training for apprentices and employees
  • Additional classes will be added throughout the year

  • Accuplacer Exam Preparation (designed for ABC of Wisconsin Apprenticeship applicants to take the Accuplacer with confidence).
  • Algebra (meets requirements of applicants to the ABC of Wisconsin Electrical and Steamfitting apprenticeships).
  • Career Readiness Bootcamp (Designed for applicants new to the industry and for onboarding new employees, including personal skills, people skills and workplace skills).
  • Construction Industry Essentials (Learn technical knowledge sought after by construction employers including measurement, safety, and tool identification and use. This can be used with existing on-boarding processes). 

    Online electrical ceu's

    ABC of Wisconsin Apprenticeship and Training Trust offers State of Wisconsin approved on-line Electrical CEU’s through our partnership with JADE Learning. These courses are approved for apprentice unpaid hours and CEUs for registered electricians, journeyman and master electricians.

    How to use a Tape Measure

    This is a one-hour, interactive, online training designed by industry experts. 

    This class will cover:
    • Measuring tools in construction
    • Selecting, caring for, and safe use of a tape measure
    • Reading and using a tape measure with real life examples
    • Adding and simplifying fractions
