You simply fill out the form, either by yourself, or as many companies do, with a team of people. New Legislation Creates Code Clarity for Builders

Wisconsin lawmakers recently passed Senate Bill 617 creating a uniform commercial building code in Wisconsin. ABC of Wisconsin was very instrumental in the creation of this bill. The legislation now needs Governor Walker’s signature to become law. Read the rest of entry »

Mandatory Pre-bid Contractor Certification Required for State Projects

The 2013-15 Wisconsin State Budget (2013 Wisconsin Act 20) significantly altered the bidding and contracting processes for state construction projects. In summary, it required that all projects over $185,000 be let through single prime bidding and that all potential bidders (on projects over $50,000) must become certified by the Wisconsin Department of Administration (DOA) prior to submitting bids. Building Information Modeling at an affordable price!
