Do you have a legal question relating to your business thats troubling you?
Do you want to learn what the law requires in a particular situation?
Do you want to know what your rights are? Do you want to know about legal procedures you are required to follow? If the answer to any of these questions is "yes," then try the ABC First Call Service. Contact the ABC office (800-236-2224/608-244-5883) to first discuss the problem. ABC monitors problems occurring and reoccurring around the state. When you have a question in a particular area of the law, you can call Melli, Walker, Pease & Ruhly, S.C., the law firm that represents ABC of Wisconsin, Inc., at 608-257-4812. If you have an issue regarding labor or personnel law, call Jim Pease or Doug Witte. If the issue relates to construction, bidding, business, or general law areas, such as wills or real estate transactions, call Phil Bradbury. If the issue relates to OSHA, prevailing wage or the wage and hour laws, call Sue Sheeran. Your free call may last up to one hour and may include an explanation of the law and the options you have available to you.
