Each year, ABC's skill Competition is held to showcase the top ABC of Wisconsin apprentices in Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC, Insulating and Plumbing. It's a great event to highlight apprentices and their employers. Apprentices typically find it to be a great experience and can be one of the proudest moments of their career.
You will receive 8 hours of unpaid related instruction for competing. Competitors receives a shirt and at least one prize for competing, with the top three winners in each trade receiving additional prizes. The first-place winner in each trade advances to the ABC National Craft Championship in March 2020 in Nashville, Tennessee.
This is a unique experience for apprentices and can be a great opportunity for publicity for an employer's company.
