Mast Climbing Work Platforms (MCWP’s) are an extremely popular tool for the positioning of trades, tools and materials safely at height. OSHA categorizes MCWP’s as ‘supported scaffold’ but without any sub-classification, and the product’s ANSI standard is not formally adopted by OSHA. This presentation will therefore seek to provide clarity for General Contractors, Contractors and Safety Professionals on:
- Industry guidelines on safe installation, testing and use
- Industry training levels and general training course content
- Important OSHA and ANSI procedures and compliance requirements
