DC Everest Riverside Elementary – Addition and Renovation

The DC Everest Riverside Elementary School in Ringle consisted of a 22,100-square-foot remodel along with a 13,000-square-foot addition. It included a newly-upgraded HVAC system for the entire building and water distribution piping and filtration systems to remove contaminates. Both the first and second phases of the remodel and addition needed continual focus and planning. Since the students were in session for several months, Ellis Construction had to make sure to keep the noise level to a minimum and make sure there were no obstructions for school buses. COVID-19 was a big challenge for this jobsite, as several members of the masonry crew were exposed, which halted progress on the additions for two weeks. COVID-19 also caused material lead time issues. In addition, the project encountered severe storms that took out power and water for two days. Ellis Construction was able to finish this project on time and ready for the school year.
