Consolidated Construction leveraged its referendum, pre-construction, and value engineering expertise in a multi-phase construction plan to deliver more school for less money to this rural school district. Voters approved a plan that called for 32,170 square feet of new construction and 17,600 square feet of renovations at Des Lacs. The 4-phase approach included new construction, demolition, repurposing and renovations while school was in session. The safety of students was paramount. There were zero injuries/safety-related incidents or OSHA violations. Relentless rainfall resulted in 11 lost work days in a three-week period.
