Ross & Associates used careful planning to complete the Dick’s Fresh Market expansion over a very rainy period in Amery to renew a store while it remained open during the COVID outbreak. The 7,800-square-foot commercial design/build included the latest in refrigeration technology, store amenities, kiosks, Caribou Coffee and exterior facelift. The contractor worked creatively to adjust their work around customers purchasing and buying goods in the store. They also worked with the owner and department managers on the job to ensure construction proceeded safely. The contractor used Critical Path Method (CPM), applying mathematical analysis to calculate time for all activities needed to complete the project along with value engineering, which required a special focus on the techniques, planning, and designing of the project. Over eight months of work, there were no delays and no injuries.
