The 103,000 square foot Federal Foam project included expanded shipping/receiving operations, storage, assembly, break rooms, training rooms, offices and conference areas. The new space allowed the client to move some warehousing and shipping operations out of the manufacturing facility and reconfigure production space to improve efficiency and safety. Staging the reconfiguring included careful planning for moving very large machinery. The project included 90,000 square feet of concrete work. Despite record wind chills and record snow falls, Derrick Building Solutions installed wall panels and an MR-24 standing seam roof. The project finished ahead of schedule and on budget.
