Steiner Electric was challenged to design and install the electrical in a new, 14,000 square foot clean room for molding operations at the existing MGS Manufacturing facility. The existing roof was too low, which required a higher roof structure and the relocation of existing power. Molding presses also needed power and connections to the MGS data center, product control wiring, compressed air, and chilled water. The four-month, 3000 man-hour project was successfully completed with custom-fabricated utility panels. Steiner Electric performed all of the CAD redesigns and full lighting photometrics in house to speed up the delivery time to the owner for approval. Steiner saved the owner thousands by redesigning power distribution plans.
