Skana Aluminum Co Cast House Expansion
The Skana Aluminum Company expansion project was centered around a 240-ton melt/hold/tilt aluminum furnace and a true collaborative effort between project stakeholders. A.C.E. Building Service worked with over 30 suppliers and subcontractors to complete the 8,600 work-hour project with zero recordable incidents. A unique part of the project involved enclosing the first phase with a temporary metal wall using old metal panels from A.C.E. Building Service’s stock, which saved money and allowed Skana to continue operations as the project commenced.
