State Street Station
The State Street Station is a mixed-use, multi-family development located in the heart Wauwatosa’s village neighborhood. The Stevens Construction Corp. project includes 148 luxury apartments, 375 parking spaces, first floor retail, outdoor courtyard, indoor clubroom and many more ammenities. Like most urban projects, there were challenges with tight site constraints, as well as significant water and soil issues, which resulted in a complex earth retention structure and a permanent water management system. The triangular site and existing utilities made truck and crane access difficult, as materials often had to be moved across the length of the building.
