Lead & Asbestos have been in use as a building material in this country for hundreds of years. After WW II, both saw a significant increase in usage. Why were they used; what are the health effects of exposure to them, and what must be done to work with them safely?

This presentation will give you the interesting back-story of these substances, and where we stand presently with laws and technology usage of these materials.

        About the Speaker

Rocky Everly has an unusual background. An engineer who spent 20 years bringing computer controls to factories and commercial buildings. An investor that has flipped 30 properties. BUT – he got his start selling Vinyl Asbestos floor tile and “un-leaded” paint in the 70’s and 80’s. For the last 10 years he has been operating MLAIC – bringing high quality environmental and safety training to the upper Midwest.

He will be talking about Myths, Reality and changes in the Lead and Asbestos world.
