American Construction Services, Inc. delivered the North Town Apartments project in Sheboygan under budget and one and a half weeks ahead of schedule. Road infrastructure was the biggest challenge on the 99-plus-acre shared development site. The team coordinated with the project owner and the Town of Sheboygan to overcome it. Streamlined operations ensured uninterrupted access to both the active construction site and the newly constructed adjacent hotel. Another hurdle arose during the concrete block work phase. By pivoting materials and a subcontractor, the schedule was realigned, the issue was solved, and valuable time was regained. The team also worked together with subcontractors to synchronize the construction of both apartment buildings, allowing fixtures and finishes to be installed simultaneously, without sacrificing quality or speed. Inside, thoughtful details like quartz countertops in all units and generous quartz islands in many units convey luxury. Every decision was made with both cost and quality in mind, ensuring American Construction Services, Inc. exceeded the owner’s expectations. Sustainability and performance were prioritized by installing motion-activated PTEC units for energy savings, using the highest-quality Low-E glass available, and selecting building envelope materials that met or surpassed all code requirements, resulting in a blend of efficiency, elegance, and exceptional craftsmanship.
