Meet ABC’s HR Expert

Kate Schieldt, SHRM-SCP, has extensive experience in human resources which includes regulatory compliance, strategic development and implementation, policies and procedures, employee relations, talent acquisition, organizational development and training, performance management, compensation and benefits, workers compensation, and self-insured insurance programs. Kate also owned and operated her own human resource consultancy firm, working with small to mid-size employers throughout southern Wisconsin.

Kate earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Edgewood College in Madison. She is a Senior Certified Professional in Human Resources (SHRM-SCP). She has held several board positions and leadership roles with these boards.
