Wanek Center of Innovation, built by Weiser Brothers General Contractor, Inc., was named the 2025 Project of the Year.

The banquet honored 55 different projects built by ABC Members in 2025.  The award-winning projects were reviewed by a panel of 25 judges, with expertise in architecture, engineering and construction education.  Judges base their scores on the safety record of each project first, then evaluate the other features of each project, including craftsmanship, execution and coordination, scheduling, overcoming difficult or unusual challenges, owner satisfaction, and overall distinctiveness.

“It is stunning to see the incredible work ABC members are doing to build offices, roads, housing, retail space and so much more,” said Kelly Tourdot, president of Associated Builders and Contractors of Wisconsin. “Merit shops compete to win, and tonight’s projects demonstrate the exceptional care our members take to build projects that are beautiful, sustainable and with perfect safety scores.”
