Back by popular demand! An online, four-part virtual series.

Understanding and successfully managing team dynamics is critical for success in today’s environment. This four-part virtual series will provide participants with the tools needed to navigate the complexities of team interactions and will provide insights on how to foster a positive team culture. Each interactive session will dive into the characteristics, challenges, and strategies associated with each stage of team development (Forming, Storming, Norming and Performing), providing practical tools to enhance team collaboration and effectiveness. The virtual, Zoom sessions are outlined below. This will be an interactive course; participation will be encouraged and expected. To fully participate in each course, you will need to be at a computer or device that allows cameras to be on and audio enabled for group interaction.

Session 1Forming: Define the current state & uncover the best path forward.

Team members come together, establishing the groundwork for their collaboration and setting the structure for future work. In this session, participants will learn about the key traits and behaviors of team members while building awareness of common team and business challenges, such as uncertainty, lack of trust, and differing expectations. They will also explore strategies to address these challenges and lay the foundation for a positive team culture.

Session 2Storming: Unify your team. Not everyone thinks or acts the same – which, is your biggest advantage.  

Session two will identify common conflicts and power struggles that arise from differing personalities and perspectives, which can affect team dynamics. They will explore effective conflict resolution strategies to help teams navigate challenges and disagreements, and discuss ways to create an open environment that promotes communication and collaboration.

Session 3: Norming: Activate the behaviors that bring you to the next level.

In session three, participants will work on increasing cohesion, trust, and collaboration among team members. They will reinforce the importance of shared norms to strengthen team strategy and explore techniques for encouraging new perspectives, ensuring that all team members feel valued and engaged.

Session 4: Performing: Sustain a highly performing team.

In the final session, participants will examine the key traits of high-performing teams—such as effective communication, mutual support, and shared accountability—and understand how these traits contribute to achieving team goals. They will also identify strategies for sustaining momentum and fostering continuous improvement within the team, with a focus on goal-setting, feedback mechanisms, and celebrating successes.
