WESTON – Members of Associated Builders and Contractors of Wisconsin (ABC) and area business leaders gathered at PGA, Inc. in Weston today to endorse Congressman Tom Tiffany for Governor of Wisconsin.
“Congressman Tiffany is well known in our area as a strong supporter of businesses, and he understands the importance of free and open competition,” explained Tom Barnetzke, Vice President and CFO at PGA, Inc.
PGA, Inc. provides electrical, excavating, HVAC and plumbing services for commercial construction.
Brent Pember, Board Member of ABC Wisconsin and President of Pember Companies, a civil and site contractor specializing in excavating, concrete and infrastructure construction, agreed.
“ABC members want the opportunity to compete for projects, and to be selected because of our excellent work. Tom Tiffany understands this goal, and has championed our issues both in Wisconsin as a state legislator, and at the Capitol as our congressman.”
In addition to his support for open competition, Tiffany received the endorsement because of his work to champion an all-of-the-above approach to training skilled workers for construction trades.
“I am grateful to have the endorsement of the Associated Builders and Contractors of Wisconsin and the hardworking men and women who build our homes, hospitals, and businesses. For too long, government red tape has stood in the way of Wisconsin’s economic potential, driving up costs and pushing opportunities out of reach,” said Tom Tiffany.
“As governor, I will launch a Red Tape Reset to eliminate regulations by 25%, accelerate permitting and make Wisconsin open for business once again. We will also strengthen apprenticeships and technical education so the next generation can build good-paying careers right here in Wisconsin. It’s time to let our builders build and our economy grow,” he said.
Early voting is now open, and election day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
