ABC of Wisconsin Chapter earns national accreditation at high-performing level

WASHINGTON, D.C., Oct. 1, 2021 — Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Wisconsin has earned accreditation from ABC National for another four years. ABC National recently informed the chapter that it achieved at the high-performing level in 2021, which is good for four years. Accreditation is the process of reviewing an organization’s performance relative to specific standards and quality requirements. This is the highest level awarded to the 69 ABC chapters.

“Accreditation is about performance and I’m proud of how extremely well we met and exceeded recognized standards for chapters in the audit,” said John Mielke, ABC of Wisconsin president. “We are performing at the highest level because of all the incredible work by our members and staff.”

The audit, which takes several months to complete, requires extensive work to demonstrate the chapter meets the recognized standards in areas such as financial management, leadership development, membership, programs and services and national participation. It includes an intense evaluation and site visit by national auditors.

The chapter will be officially recognized for its accreditation at the 2022 Convention in San Antonio.
