MADISON, WI — Statement from John Mielke, president of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Wisconsin:
“On behalf of the nearly 900 construction employers that make up ABC of Wisconsin, I thank Joint Finance Committee Republicans for repealing prevailing wage and reinstating project labor agreement neutrality on public projects and right to work. The measures, which were inserted in Governor Evers’ budget proposal, would erode free enterprise and open market practices in our state. Now that the merit construction trifecta stands as the law of Wisconsin, we can get more serious about decisions regarding investments in our transportation infrastructure.”
