MADISON, Wisconsin – Associated Builders and Contractors of Wisconsin (ABC-WI) announces Jennifer Ellestad as the association’s new Director of Education.
Ellestad brings extensive experience in workforce development, apprenticeship program design, and leadership training. Throughout her career in the automotive industry, she has led large, multi-site teams and developed scalable training programs focused on career pathways, employee retention, and building high-performing organizations. In her role at ABC-WI, Ellestad will lead the association’s education initiatives, including ConstructionU, leadership development programming, and expanded workforce training efforts. She will focus on enhancing member training opportunities, and aligning education programs with the evolving needs of the construction industry.
“Jennifer understands the importance of training for all levels of a company’s workforce,” said Kelly Tourdot, ABC-WI Wisconsin President, “We are excited to have her insight as we build new programs and deliver the high quality educational offerings our members need to grow their companies.”
ABC-WI continues to add contractors and suppliers to the statewide association, driving increased demand for high-quality education and workforce development programs.

Ellestad’s appointment is effective immediately.
