In the often-high-pressure environment of a construction site, effective communication is crucial for ensuring project success and safety. The success of any project requires effective control of construction costs on the job site. This session specifically focuses on construction cost and applies principles and practices associated with cost awareness and production control to different elements of a project. Cost control begins with the estimate and then continues through work and cost analysis, production scheduling, reporting, production control, and ends with project evaluation. Attendees will solve common construction problems using case studies and discussion of common cost control issues.
