ABC member WholeTrees Architecture & Structures Partners with Festival Foods on 57,000 sf Structural System

Festival Foods will be the first retailer and grocer to use round-timber columns, beams and trusses as an engineered structural system. The 57,000 sf structure will use 30 to 40 tons of urban ash trees saved from the City of Madison that need to be removed due to the Emerald Ash Borer. Mark Skogen, Festival Foods President & CEO says, “Not only are we excited to be partnering with another local Wisconsin-based company, but we are thrilled to be providing a solution to repurpose ash trees that need to be removed from the city.”

WholeTrees Architecture & Structures is a member of Associated Builders & Contractors of Wisconsin.
