Bank First’s new 3,292 sq. ft. branch in Sturgeon Bay stands apart with its one-of-a-kind, Door County-inspired design. Unlike other Bank First locations, this project was carefully altered to complement the character of Door County, featuring hand-selected artwork from local artists and Fond du Lac Natural Stone, proudly Wisconsin-made. The project site required the removal of an existing house and shed and presented significant challenges, including building through bedrock and completing major phases of construction during bitter winter temperatures. Despite these obstacles, the team successfully advanced the project on an unusually fast-track schedule, maintaining budget and timeline expectations. Collaboration with Bank First and key project stakeholders was essential to achieving the branch’s unique vision. A significant number of labor-hours were worked without a single incident, underscoring the Northcentral Construction team’s commitment to safety and quality. Now a cornerstone in Sturgeon Bay, this new branch blends innovative construction practices with community-rooted design, reflecting both the natural beauty and the cultural spirit of Door County.
