About the Project

For the first time since 1903, the Bank of Luxemburg expanded their footprint to the “west side of the Fox River” in the village of Howard. The ground up 4,490- square-foot branch broke ground in early October 2021. Within 40 days, Keller, and the subcontractors had brought in approximately 8,500 cubic yards of fill, completed all exterior and interior underground utilities, exterior concrete, asphalt binder course, building foundations and floor slab. This provided for a safe, clean, and easy-to-maintain site throughout winter construction. The unique architecture designed by Keller features a combination of masonry stone, brick, glass curtain walls, and ACM paneling to compliment the colors of The Bank of Luxemburg. The interior design features frameless interior glass, floor to ceiling interior windows in offices and conference rooms, and wall tile accents throughout — including a 14-foot high free-standing fireplace feature with wood mantel in the front lobby. The ceilings in the upper clerestory show painted structural steel with stained tongue and groove wood planks.
