Chula Vista Resort continues to grow and, as a result, it continues to need to provide employee housing for the many young people who travel to Wisconsin from around the world to work there. Friede & Associates worked with Chula management on a dormitory-style design and to build flexible and economical employee housing units for lower student concentrations. The two-story cottage units consist of four, four-person units per floor. The contractor incorporated a panelized wall system, prefabricated offsite, to complete the three 32-unit employee apartment buildings in just four months and under the $1.4 million budget.
