City of Baraboo Public Safety & Administration Building

Kraemer Brothers was awarded the City of Baraboo’s Public Safety & Administration Building in early 2017. This building is home to the city administration offices, city council chambers, city police station, garage for police vehicles, officer locker rooms, training space and booking and interview rooms. Despite the sitework challenges and logistics issues setting this project back initially, this two-story, 48,000-square-foot project finished on schedule. The building features a dignified exterior of brick, stone and precast panels, with a glass curtainwall overlooking the Baraboo River. The site is unique, bordered by land, two roads and a river, while the building was built into the side of a hill.
