Lion Performance Hall

This project brought new life to an existing church, transforming it into an intimate concert venue designed to host chamber ensembles, local singer-songwriters, and storytelling performances. From the start, the owner was highly engaged—attending project meetings, collaborating closely with Keller, Inc., and ensuring every detail reflected his vision. Acoustic quality was central to the project’s success. The owner partnered with Riedel & Associates, whose design expertise shaped the acoustic treatments fabricated by RealAcoustix. Keller carefully installed both the wall and ceiling treatments, ensuring the space delivered exceptional sound quality for performers and audiences alike. Construction moved smoothly despite minor rain and snow, with the open site allowing flexibility in operations. Special care was taken along the east side, where the site was just 15 feet from a neighboring residential property. Keller’s team maintained strict attention to safety, cleanliness, and respect for the community throughout. Midway through construction, the scope expanded significantly. Keller fully dismantled the first floor to studs and rebuilt with specialized insulation, vapor barriers, layered drywall, upgraded lighting, HVAC lining, and custom acoustical finishes—showcasing adaptability under evolving requirements. Keller completed 3,718 labor-hours without injury, reinforcing a commitment to safety, quality, and excellence.
