PDC Electrical Contractors worked precisely with Keller and the Bank of New Glarus in completing the new 6,326-square-foot Bank of New Glarus branch in Monroe, Wisconsin. PDC provided a complete design build installation consisting of the demolition of an existing retail space, installation of the new 600-amp service with provisions for a future addition, general power for the bank’s daily functions, custom lighting and controls throughout the facility, electric vehicle charger for customers and the general public and a photovoltaic solar array on the bank’s roof. One unique piece of equipment that PDC had the honor of wiring is an ITM machine. An ITM machine is an interactive teller machine, which is essentially a “branch in a box” system that uses a combination of touch screens and video technology to offer a virtual version of the in-person banking experience. In order to complete said project, PDC performed 2,722 man-hours. Weekly construction meetings were held with Keller, bank representatives, and all trades to discuss the project design and issues that may have arrived to ensure the project progressed forward and on schedule. In addition, PDC hosted weekly toolbox safety talks to ensure safety was the number one priority during construction.
