Working with the design team and the parish building committee, Friede was able to deliver a chapel project that not only looks like it had always been a part of the church, but did so on time and under budget. The new Our Lady of Refuge Adoration Chapel is a 1,500 square foot wood-framed structure that features extensive exterior masonry to match the adjacent Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The new addition includes the adoration/chapel area with a 40-person seating capacity, two handicapped accessible restrooms and a maintenance area. Construction within a tight space took just over four months, despite heavy rains, and was completed in time for a dedication by the bishop.
