The construction of Stainless Tank & Equipment’s (STE) new 400,000 sq. ft. facility on a 43-acre site in Beloit, Wisconsin, is a story of vision, innovation, and collaboration. Built by Corporate Contractors, Inc. (CCI) and outstanding partners, the plant includes 350,000 sq. ft. of high-tech, high-precision manufacturing space with soaring 38-foot ceilings, over 1,000 feet of straight-line production, and 65-foot-wide assembly lines. Efficiency is supported by 13 service bays, 56 bay doors, extensive warehouse capacity, and covered pavilions for storage and stainless tank trailer presentation. Inside, advanced infrastructure was integrated to accommodate proprietary equipment, requiring multiple slab thicknesses, nearly 500 utility drops, five crane runways, and more than 2,000 linear feet of floor troughs for future flexibility. Three two-story POD offices with custom stainless-steel finishes and a modern two-story office building, including a showroom, fitness center, and expansive break areas, further enhance operations and employee well-being. Over 160,000 labor-hours went into the project, with local subcontractors, innovative 3D modeling, and strict safety protocols driving success. Students and interns also gained hands-on experience, linking construction to workforce development. Today, STE’s advanced plant stands as an impressive Beloit landmark with its inspiring 132-foot flagpole and serves as a shining model of American manufacturing excellence.
