The Lamphouse

The Lamphouse Apartments bring luxury living to the small town main street in Waunakee. Through collaboration with the village, five integrated facades help keep the small town feel while residents enjoy upscale finishes, a rooftop terrace, fitness room and more. McGann Construction was charged with a very difficult project schedule that required a two-phased turnover of the 103-unit apartment building. To ensure quality control, the contractor used a thorough review process from preconstruction to project closeout. McGann was able to work with subcontractors during the bidding process to identify cost-saving measures that would not sacrifice project integrity. By self-performing much of the work on the project, McGann was able to directly control the schedule of various scopes of work. McGann worked with the owners, architects and engineers to combat price increases, tariffs and tipping fees and found suitable value engineering options that fit the design, quality and needs of the owner.
