The WVRC Pewaukee, completed in August 2025, was delivered using Keller’s integrated design/build process, providing a single point of contact for owner Basatada, LLC and tenant Ethos Veterinary Health. This streamlined due diligence, design, estimating, and construction while allowing seamless integration of specialized veterinary equipment—including advanced diagnostics, surgical suites, and emergency care systems—to minimize cost and schedule impacts. The site presented significant challenges, requiring rezoning and a comprehensive plan amendment. Keller worked closely with city officials and neighboring residents to overcome these hurdles, transforming a long-vacant, underutilized parcel into a thriving community asset that expands access to emergency veterinary care. As tenant requirements and budgets evolved, Keller’s design/build model enabled rapid redesigns of hospital areas, such as treatment spaces, labs, and recovery zones, ensuring the facility aligned with both operational needs and financial goals. The result is a state-of-the-art, 25,000 sq. ft. hospital tailored to Ethos’s standards of care. Throughout construction, Keller prioritized safety and efficiency, completing 12,619 labor-hours without injury while maintaining an organized job site and delivering high-quality results that reflect the team’s adaptability and commitment to excellence.
