[Menasha, Wis…] Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Wisconsin formally endorsed Mike Gallagher for Congress at an event late last week, citing his commitment to the principles of free enterprise and open competition.

“I’m honored to receive ABC of Wisconsin’s endorsement in my race to represent the 8th District,” said Gallagher. “In Congress, I will do everything I can to eliminate needless red tape, and support policies that create jobs and spur economic growth for our builders and contractors. I look forward to working closely with ABC on issues important to Wisconsin’s construction industry.”

Gallagher has shown time and again during his campaign that he will be an ally in congress for the merit shop construction industry.

“Our members need a voice in Washington that stands up for what they believe in,” said John Mielke, ABC of Wisconsin President. “Mike will be an outstanding congressman for the 8th district, and ABC of Wisconsin is proud to endorse him.”
