ABC of Wisconsin Member Consolidated Construction Wins National Excellence in Construction Award

[Madison, Wisc…] Consolidated Construction Co., Inc. – headquartered in Appleton, Wisconsin – was recognized for its high-quality construction at the 26th annual Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Excellence in Construction Awards. The ceremony was held on March 2nd in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The Excellence in Construction Awards celebration honors the nation’s most innovative and high-quality projects, safety programs and diversity programs each year. Consolidated Construction, a member of the Wisconsin Chapter of ABC, was presented with a Pyramid Award in the “Commercial $5 to $10 million” category for their Holiday Inn project in Bismarck, North Dakota.

“We are extremely proud to call Consolidated Construction an ABC of Wisconsin member,” said John Mielke, ABC of Wisconsin President. “Their award-winning work shows the high-quality construction that can be expected from merit shop contractors all across our state and country.”

The Holiday Inn project was also recognized with a Gold Level Award at the Projects of Distinction program, hosted by ABC of Wisconsin in February. In addition to presenting Consolidated Construction with the Pyramid Award, ABC National also recognized the project’s owner, Dora Hospitality; Architect, Cities Edge Architects; and Engineer, Bartlett & West, Inc.

Consolidated Construction has been an ABC of Wisconsin member for more than 40 years and has offices in Milwaukee and Bismarck, North Dakota in addition to its Appleton headquarters.
