Budget Priority Sessions Offer Opportunity for ABC Members

ABC members may want to use the Governor-elect’s budget priority sessions this month to share issues important to them, specifically, how 1:1 apprenticeship ratios, the elimination of prevailing wage and PLA neutrality have expanded training and/or opened up more work to more contractors in the state.

A statewide “Building the People’s Budget” tour is designed to provide participants an opportunity to share budget priorities and policy ideas with Governor-elect Tony Evers and Lt. Governor-elect Mandela Barnes.

“I invite Wisconsinites to share their ideas with us on how we can tackle the problems we face and improve our state,’ said Governor-elect Tony Evers, according to a news release. “Through this process we are going to hear directly from the people and build a budget that reflects the values and priorities of the citizens of Wisconsin.”
