Installation & Applications Using PVC/CPVC

ABC Wisconsin is proud to partner with Spears Manufacturing Company to offer education and training on basic installation techniques and specific applications using PVC/CPVC materials.

This course is approved by DPSC and will qualify for 3 CEU’s for licensed plumbers.  This course will qualify for 3 apprenticeship unpaid related instruction hours.  

Wallet training cards provided by Spears® upon completion of training.

What you will learn:

• PVC properties, incompatible materials and substances, chemical resistance, proper hangers and supports.
• Recommended safety precautions.
• Solvent cements, primers, accessories and proper solvent cementing techniques.
• Proper threaded transitions.
• Proper tools for use with PVC/CPVC, including installation tips.
