There are more channels today than ever before to reach legislators and regulators about the issues directly impacting our industry. One of the newest means to make that connection is through ABC’s mobile application called ABC Action. After providing some basic information and selecting the region for which you want to stay informed the app will alert you to current measures that could impact your work. It also allows you to keep up with the latest information on the most prominent issues impacting the construction industry, such as PLAs, regulatory reform, OSHA reform and workforce development.

The ABC Action app provides contact information for each of Wisconsin’s lawmakers, as well as those in other states. Through the action alerts you are able to read through proposed changes and determine who is sponsoring each action. You may contact the lawmaker yourself or you may use the ABC supported, pre-written response letter and select the “send” button to give your support. If you feel like the pre-written letter doesn’t convey exactly what you want to say, you have the option to edit it before sending.
Follow these instructions to download the app:
• Visit the iTunes application store for Apple products, or Google Play for Android devices.
• Search for “ABC Action.”
• Click the “install” button.
• An ABC Action icon will appear on your phone’s home screen.
