Dr. Chris Johnson is an Air Force Veteran, a commercial pilot for both manned and unmanned aircraft, and a certified flight instructor. He is also the director of the UW Flight Laboratory, a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Center of Excellence for aviation research and directs Wisconsin Aviation’s Drone Services Division. As an expert in system safety and regulatory compliance for the aviation industry, Dr. Johnson founded www.PilotTrainingSystem.com, an online educational resource for both manned and unmanned aircraft pilots.
