Construction U – Lead with Impact 2024 – Web Series
An online, six-session leadership series

Exceptional leaders are catalysts for high performance, wielding the tools to inspire others and drive continuous improvement. Leaders in the construction industry must recognize that diverse leadership styles have a profound influence on construction projects, shaping outcomes and earning respect from both crews and subcontractors. ABC of WI has partnered with LAK Group to offer members this interactive, six-session online web series which provides opportunities to increase skill sets that will ignite transformation within their team. This live, online program will be delivered via Zoom to allow for immediate on-the-job application.

Part 1: Leadership Presence & Principles
People follow the person, not the position. Impactful Leaders meet commitments while demonstrating ethics, genuine curiosity, & transparency in every circumstance when dealing with their crew. This series will help you develop skills to become a more influential and intentional leader that will lead to positive impacts on project safety, profitability, and company reputation.

Part 2: Coaching Others
Leaders empower others to act, remove obstacles, and allow individuals freedom to make decisions and thrive. This happens when leaders prioritize coaching, feedback, and planning to engage their crew.  These are people who actively develop people to strengthen the organization’s talent and unlock an individual’s full potential.  This series outlines the process to truly empower your crew and seize growth opportunities.

Part 3: Adaptive Leadership
Adaptive leadership helps individuals and organizations thrive in the face of challenge and prepares them to take on the process of change. People who can learn quickly and apply that learning to others is the key to a team that can push through adversity. In this final part of the series, attendees will learn how to grow their skillset to use experiences and insights from the past in future situations.
